The National Palace
Malaysia version of Forbidden City, built with the spending of 100 million RMB. A strong Malay culture with Islamic building. If you are lucky, you might be able to see the work shifting of sentinel.
Malay Culture Museum
Without
a single nail, this number one palace was built. Malay traditional dagger and
the process of making represent the wisdom and strength. They can all be seen
in this Minangkabao Culture Museum.
National Mosque of Malaysia
The
only non-onion shaped rooftop mosque in the nation. With 16 edges start shaped
roof top, this mosque is built as a cemetery for nation contributed dead souls.
One of them is Chinese.
KL Railway Station
Located
at the opposite of the National Mosque of Malaysia, masterpiece of A.B Hu
Baker, a snowy white classic building. It was once complimented as the world’s
most beautiful railway station. It is still operating at the moment.
Sultan Abdul Samad Building
Also
a masterpiece by A.B Hu Baker. He successfully merged the three cultures as one
in this building. This building was also acted as one of the shooting venues
for the movie casted by Jackie Chan, <Police Sory 3>.
Merdeka Square
It
was the place where independent day was announced on 31st August
1957 and ended 446 years-colonial period. Both Britain President and Lee Kuan
Yew were there.
